BMB is a private mental health clinic located in Clive, Iowa, offering confidential therapy and consultation services for a wide array of issues. Treatment plans are unique to each individual's personal needs and goals. Therapeutic yoga is also available as a treatment modality and incorporates yogic philosophy, yoga asana (physical postures), pranayama (breath work), and meditation.

Anyone can benefit from therapy and interpersonal development! Mental health therapy sessions are confidential and can be billed through your insurance company as part of your healthcare plan (subject to deductibles and/or copays). Services can also be paid out of pocket.

PRIVATE YOGA SESSIONS
Interested in trying yoga, but nervous about attending a group class? Private yoga sessions are available for your individual needs, with focus on pose breakdown, proper alignment, and are injury and trauma-sensitive.

Sarah White is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor through the state of Iowa, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She completed her Bachelor's degree from Iowa State University in Psychology and Criminal Justice and obtained her Master's degree in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Drake University. She began taking yoga classes during college as a way to alleviate stress and manage anxiety, which inspired her to pursue yoga teacher training with an emphasis on yoga therapy in order to better serve others in their own personal journey towards improved quality of life, and samadhi.
With over 10 years of counseling and yoga experience, Sarah specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as military members/family, Native American and BIPOC populations, LGBTQ populations, and women’s potential.
By utilizing a wide array of theories and approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, distress tolerance, and therapeutic yoga, Sarah personalizes each treatment plan to fit the unique needs of clients.
In her free time, Sarah can be found teaching yoga classes in the community and spending time in nature kayaking, hiking, and traveling.
